About Century Craft Homes

Owner and President, Ted Baltrusaitis, has over 18 years experience in residential and commercial construction.  In 1993, Ted started his career working as a carpenter helping build vacation homes in Telluride, CO after completing college at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. He quickly discovered this would be his life long passion and made construction his career choice.


Moving on from Colorado to South Florida, Ted worked as a supervisor for a large commercial construction company. During this time, he also obtained his General Contractor’s license in Florida (which he still holds today). In 2004, he relocated to Atlanta, started his own construction company and obtained his Georgia Residential/Light Commercial Contractor’s license. He has been running a successful small business ever since.


Ted is married to Jan Marie, an Atlanta native who is also an officer with the company, managing and running day to day operations. Together, they have three small children, a dog and a cat, and are active members of their community and Church.

Jim Bergen is Century Craft’s project manager. He is an Atlanta native and attended The University of Georgia. A third generation homebuilder, Jim began his career as a supervisor for a large Atlanta home building company. Jim obtained his IRC One and Two Family Dwelling Inspector’s certification and has served as a staff FHA inspector for a large mortgage lender. He started his own home building business in 1998 and obtained his Georgia Residential Contractor’s license in 2006.


Jim and His wife Susan have two daughters, the youngest attends the Museum School in Avondale Estates.
